Custom Heat Exchanger Manufacturer for Air Compressors & Blowers

JED manufactures custom heat exchangers and coolers for air compressor and industrial blower manufacturers, package integrators and replacement projects.

Each unit can be manufactured from approved drawings or engineered around the required cooling duty, operating medium, temperature, pressure, connection arrangement and installation space.

Cooling Applications for Air Compressors & Blowers

Our heat exchangers and coolers can be manufactured for the main cooling duties found in compressor and blower packages.

Compressed Air Aftercooling

Cool compressed air after discharge before it enters dryers, storage vessels or downstream distribution equipment.

Interstage Air Cooling

Remove heat between compression stages to control discharge temperature and support stable multistage operation.

Lubricating Oil Cooling

Control lubricant temperature in compressor bearings, gearboxes and circulating oil systems for reliable operation.

Blower Discharge Air Cooling

Cool blower discharge air or process gas to meet target outlet temperatures and protect downstream equipment.

Engineering Review Before Manufacturing

JED engineers work with the customer’s engineering team to confirm the design basis before production.

  1. Define the Starting Point: Review the available drawing, technical specification, existing unit information, or operating data.
  2. Confirm the Cooling Requirements: Check the working media, cooling duty, flow rates, inlet and outlet temperatures, and operating pressures.
  3. Review the Product Configuration: Confirm the heat exchanger type, materials, connections, installation space, and applicable inspection requirements.
  4. Approve the Manufacturing Documents: Production begins after the required technical details and manufacturing drawings have been reviewed and approved.

Project-specific drawings and application details are handled according to agreed confidentiality requirements.

Project Information for New and Replacement Coolers

The required starting information depends on whether the cooler is for a new package or an existing unit. Send what is currently available; missing dimensions and operating data can be confirmed during engineering review.
